AST Core Concepts

Primary Individual Variables

Material Strain Index (MAT)

Formula: MAT = MAT-O × 2 + MAT-S

Threshold Hypothesis: When MAT ≥ 15, neuroplasticity halts.

Agency Expectancy (AE)

Mood Stability Index (MSI)

Consistency of emotional experience over time.

Socialization Exposure Dose (SED'raw)

Formula: SED'raw = Hours × Clarity × Consistency × Agency

Behavior Control Index (BCI_actual)

BCI_actual = (Achieved Goals) / (Set Goals) × 100%

Emergent Context Variables

Hegemonic Mood Climate (HMC)

HMC_context = mean(AE) × mean(MSI)

Class Character of Context (CCC)

CCC_context = (Collective AE count) / (Predatory AE count + 1)

Hegemonic Volatility (HV)

HV_context = variance(MSI)

The Revised Change Equation

SED' effective = SED'raw × HMC_context × CCC_context × (1 - HV_context)

With MAT Threshold Constraint: IF MAT_individual > THRESHOLD (15), SED' effective = 0
